"Koobi Fora Field School is the world’s premier field based training program in Paleoanthropology.
Come with us to Northern Kenya on the shores of Lake Turkana and experience the adventure of a lifetime.
Held annually for 6 weeks during June and July, the Koobi Fora Field School is an eight credit summer course sequence from Rutgers University held in Northern Kenya with a week long Wildlife Ecology session at Mugie Ranch in the Lakipia Plateau.
The study of our human prehistory is a blend of the sciences of Archaeology, Geology, Anthropology and Paleoecology"
